Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of TruthAgent (https://truth.agnthub.ai) (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
TruthAgent routes your prompt through several third-party AI models, has them debate or play assigned expert roles, and returns a synthesised answer. Outputs are AI-generated and may be inaccurate, biased, incomplete, or out of date. Do not rely on them for legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical decisions without independent professional verification.
2. Your account
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for everything that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher). One person, one account. Sharing accounts to circumvent plan limits is a breach of these Terms.
3. Acceptable use
You will not:
- use the Service to violate any law or third-party right;
- attempt to extract training data, model weights, or our internal system prompts;
- generate content that is illegal, infringes intellectual property, or targets a person for harassment, defamation, or doxxing;
- generate sexual content involving minors, content that incites violence, or content used to deceive (e.g. fraud, impersonation, election interference);
- circumvent rate limits, credit balances, account limits, or any technical protection;
- run the Service through automated systems beyond what a human user would reasonably produce;
- resell, repackage, or wrap the Service into a competing product without our prior written permission.
4. Plans, credits and billing
The Service is sold on a credit-based model. Paid subscriptions (Pro, Pro+) grant a monthly allotment of credits that resets at the start of each billing period. Credits unused in a given month roll over up to a hard cap equal to twice the monthly allotment; further accrual is forfeited.
Credit costs per debate are displayed in-app on every engine × mode combination before you start a run. The cost shown is the cost charged. Credits are deducted at the moment a debate begins and are not refunded for completed runs.
One-time top-up packs may be purchased on Pro and Pro+ plans. Top-up credits do not expire while your account is active and stack on top of your subscription balance.
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel any time from Settings → Manage billing; access continues until the end of the current paid period and remaining credits stay in your balance until consumed or until the account is closed.
Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Polar is the merchant of record for all purchases and handles tax collection and remittance for your jurisdiction.
5. Content and ownership
You retain ownership of your prompts, uploads, and the outputs you receive. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to process them solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service. We do not sell your prompts or outputs and we do not use your content to train models.
6. Third-party providers
Prompts are sent to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, and DeepSeek for inference, and (when web search is enabled) to Tavily. Audio uploads are transcribed by OpenAI Whisper. Images and files you attach are forwarded to whichever models are configured for your run. By using the Service you acknowledge that those providers process your inputs under their own terms and privacy policies, summarised in our Privacy Policy.
7. Service availability
We aim for high availability but we do not promise uptime. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, third-party model outages, or other events outside our control. If a debate fails before producing any synthesised output and credits were deducted, the cost will be automatically refunded to your balance.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy of AI outputs).
9. Limitation of liability
Our aggregate liability under these Terms is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, lost profits, or lost data.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, abuse the Service, attempt fraudulent chargebacks, or expose us to legal risk. You may terminate at any time by deleting your account from Settings. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of unused credits except as set out in our Refund Policy.
11. Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us at [email protected] to attempt a refund is a breach of these Terms and will result in immediate account termination and may be disputed with the card network.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified by email and posted here. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s country of registration. Any dispute will be brought in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
